How did you get started in health and fitness?
I started running just to lose a couple of pounds and then I got addicted after seeing results! Then I began to run in 5ks, 10ks, then half marathons, to now marathons! After running for about 5 years I then began my journey into cross training such as yoga, spin, and bootcamps. After going to classes for a while I thought hey I could do this! So that is excatly what I did. Shortly after I received my 200hr yoga certification and became certified in Spinning.
How would you describe your training style?
High Energy!!! Lots of motivation and ME pushing YOU to your limit and beyond! I love giving people the best workout every time, that keeps them coming back!
Any classic healthy meals that you eat?
Hummus lettuce wraps
What is your favorite inspirational quote?
I mean cliche, but so true "Go Hard or Go Home" . You obviously came to class for a reason, make it worth your time. Make sure you are crawling out of class!
What are your favorite exercises for developing abs?
Scissors! Parallel / Horizontal legs all the way from legs up 90 degrees and then bring them down to an inch above the ground. Then back up!
Squats! All day every day!
Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from my motivation to be a better person. I always want to set goals to become stronger and quicker on the inside and out.
What is your favorite form of cardio?
Tie between running and spinning!
What was your funniest moment at the gym?
I fell off the treadmill once...Yup I was that girl too busy watching tv...
What is your favorite part of teaching fitness classes and/or personal training?
I love seeing a solid crowd! I love people coming back and telling me how sore they still are from the class before ;-)
