Personal trainer and group fitness class instructor John W shares one of his favorite smoothies for recovering after a hard workout. This sweet, but replenishing beverage, will be sure to help you speed up muscle recovery and get back training sooner.
Ingredients: 1 cup ice 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder 1 teaspoon Flax Seed oil 1/2 banana 1/2 teaspoon honey 1 heaping tablespoon Greek yogurt 1 heaping tablespoon natural peanut butter 1 cup chocolate soy milk (can use dairy milk if preferred) Place all ingredients in blender and mix until desired texture. Makes one personal size smoothie. Fits in a Magic Bullet perfectly.
